A Poem by Val Val
"

Obviously, my portion is wrapped in [ ]. Just inserted my thoughts. Hopefully it doesn't suck too much. I am no good at working with other people's words. I have enough trouble with my own.

I’m sneaking around with the thought of you
Behind my own heart
[Are you playing a part?]
And breaking back into school
Just to write it on the wall
To make it official
[Both superficial and beneficial.]
The best road trip never taken
The smell of love
[Does a word rhyme here that's not dove?]
Do not disturb
Swings from the door
And the breakfasts were left unpaid for
[A lady in public, a bedroom w***e.]
We lose track of how these things start
Half a glass is all I need
So little left to feed
[In word and deed.]
One for me
One for you
One for the road
[Have you plateaued?]
this love is a monster and
It lives!
But will it destroy the village and thus be driven away
[Like the ending of a bad play.]
I cast a spell on myself
And then one on you
