Vodka PoetryA Poem by The Valerian LegionWritten after 6 shots of good Vodka, dancing and a crying session. The burnt opalescent moon gazed at one. It's eyes like diamonds of fire so bright in the daytime even I could not see the beauty. The darkness so unfathomable and deep it was like gazing at eternity with the wisdom of a thousand years. No matter the depth of the soul nothing could explain how much it meant to the one. Opaque tears strewn across its prespice. I wept at the beauty and magnifence of such a fiery muted night. Laughter a cadence, buzzing with wings of light. Nothing can take away or dismiss or diminish the intensity of the warrior's might. Shades of the pallid moon fornight please grant me this one request. Love were it true and real may I see it. See it for its true self. If only I were older and wiser and without the weights or burdens in my hearts gaze. Please light of the moon grant me grace's repreive. One chance, one moment...To see love's truth. Truth of the soul inside the deepest recess of one's central mind, body and spirit. © 2011 The Valerian Legion |
