Rain

Rain

A Poem by The Valerian Legion
"

A quick write up while in the car on a rainy day.

"
Loud raucous
Tempo steady
Steamy plight
Large and small
Flash out
Crash the chorus
Belly dancing on the roof
Cymbals clasped
Laced up the front
April and May
Squeaking streaks
Light gray
Contrive the precision
Traffic is bad
Ahead the horizon
Swish and tick tock
Splash
Snaking inch by inch
Main streets and backstreets
Water rolling down
Plead nature pooling
Wet, moist
Zig Zag procession
A bag is full
Keep clear
Tired, helpless sods
First oil now shying off
Ground hard and sinful
Smack smack
The grates wicked
First surprise
Swoosh
Destiny is somewhere ahead
Along the driving road
