Firewater Smoke

Firewater Smoke

A Poem by The Valerian Legion
"

This was written in July of 2010. It was around the time I wasn't sure of myself and the urge to cut was the strongest it had been since I'd made the choice not to do that anymore.

"

Veiled hues of blue

heavy perfume effigy

swiftly, vastly I see purple skies

Sunken low beneath the veins

My aching soul yearning

Always burning

Never turning

Seems the same

It’s always different says I

Chosen

Even merging spires

Imperfection never deters me

I’d rather stone than ghosted shades

Teardropped wanderer

Pace with me

My twisted views cleared

Rose mist I’d take anyday

Spin me, make me fly

Red blood flow

Need to feel again

I’m always burning

Never turning

yet I’m yearning just the same

Feed this empty mouth the words it needs

Take up fill the void in my skull

It’s windy here in the blue

House of cards are fragile

Just like me

Confused little firesmoke

Always burning but never turning

Toss a pebble into the pond

Inverse flow ripple stops

Freeze the glass and all it takes

Just one whack

Convected chalky entrails test it out

Because just like me

Let confused little fire be

Thin veiled blue

Always yearning

Burning but never turning

O’travesty’s regret requires penance

Tame the flames of fire smoke

Burning yes always buring

Save me little fire smoke

Always burning

Never turning but yearning just the same

Waterwind

Earthgrew

Firesmoke

Author's Note

The Valerian Legion
I think there was suppose to be more but I never finished the last part of it so I just left the three words there.
