Buried UnderneathA Poem by Tessa***
She aches for a new beginning
The lonely years just passed her by She grew tired of the sleepless nights And the thoughts that left her cold inside Her mind is like a mine Filled with gemstones and hidden light That no one could seem to find They didn't bother to look on the other side She's the type of girl to dance in the rain To find joy when the storm shuts the power out Because she'd just light a dozen candles The magic of a simple flame left her without any doubts But yet she couldn't find a soul To share these precious moments with She felt quite alone No one wanted to take the risk Her treasures got buried underneath Still there, but hard to reach It's because the one thing she couldn't find the brighter side with Was the damned feeling of loneliness
