A Paper's Life

A Paper's Life

A Poem by Tessa
"

Not exactly a poem but rather some thoughts of mine.

"
You can give someone a blank piece of paper and a pencil.
But you can't force them to write.
A piece of paper is merely a symbol of what could be.
What could become of this piece of paper?
Maybe it'll become a beautiful drawing, a story, a poem.
Or maybe it'll just get crumpled up and tossed away.
Really, it's just what you decide to do with it.
So, you could turn it into something wonderful and exciting, or you could just decide to waste it.
It's your life, it's up to you.

The paper represents life, if you didn't catch the last line.

Very profound and contemplative notions you write here. You could def turn this into a poem by taking away line 4 (which isn't exactly necessary), rewording the two following lines to contain/start with "it could", and having a line after "exciting" in the penultimate line. That done, this would be a bona-fide gem of a poem. Well done!
