King Of Hell: A Poem

King Of Hell: A Poem

A Poem by Valen_Veloria

Standing between worlds
Insane and Clam
I dive, head first, into hell
I welcome the flames with open arms
A grin on my face and knife in my heart
I land on my feet and run to the gate
Faces of friends and family cover the door
Telling me to turn around and get out while i can
Peaces of me fall off as i walk in
like the skin of a snake shedding
i open the door
The shrieks from the door explode like a siron
My white wings fall off and grow back in black
My halo breaks into the horns on my head
I the last peace of skin sheds and my sanity breaks
I embrace this new body and life
the flames of hell milt my frozen heart
I run to the throne
Pull the knife out of my heart
run past death and kill it
up the stairs
My worst nightmares flash before my eyes
Loneliness, death of my love, all stands before me
I keep running, my sanity pulls me down
i cut the ties and reach the top
Satan stands before me
I slit my own neck and become king
Master my insanity
The new King of Hell
