I keep spending time doing what you love

But then I wish I had done my part

In elevating myself through the life we lead

Understanding that you plus me

Doesn’t have to be

Me doing you or you doing me

We can do our own thing

And still be in love

When I look into your eyes

I see potential

Potential that leads to something else

But you can’t see what I see

This frustrates me

Because the belief I hold for you is so big

And I don’t think you hold that for me

But is love enough

We want different things
