Just simple pleasures

Just simple pleasures

A Poem by Vaishali
"

We often outlook the simple pleasures of life in this hustle. Remind yourself to enjoy even the simplest in life.

"
Rushing in the corridors; striving always for more,
I realised things happen with their own pace,
But it was too late, I was already in a rat race.
I pondered over and over, finally decided to take a break.

Woke up to birds chirping, gazed all around the room smiling,
It was so calm
Ah, isn't it the simple pleasure I was searching all along???
I slid out of my bed, songs started playing in my head.
I sang and danced in the shower,
This is a simple pleasure, I discover.

Sipped my coffe, smelled my books,
Glanced on the wall, saw how happy the child in picture looks.

I went out for a walk,
Strangers makes you feel good with friendly talk!!
The unnoticed simple pleasures are in stalk.

I cogitate.
How happiness is measured and who measures;
Life is best with all it's simple pleasures.
