One paradoxical night

I guess we all feel contradictory emotions simultaneously. Sometimes we are in a group and yet we feel alone.

As i sat under the dark, night sky,

thousands of thoughts rushed by.

Some were absurd;

some were like constellations from another world.

And few questions came across my mind,

answers i could never find.

Suddenly strange feelings encircled me,

I felt

empty and complete simultaneously,

free yet captivated,

felt power and also powerless at the same time,

felt aware yet oblivious,

felt i have found myself and lost some of my pieces,

felt like time has stopped yet needles of my watch kept moving.

I just shut my eyes and when i opened

 ray of sunlight came through my window.

And I pondered how we feel paradoxical emotions simultaneously.

Ah yes! Very true. We often feel contradicting feelings and act that way too. Like when we laugh so hard we cry. I guess that's the self-balancing way of nature.
I like this poem, I can relate to every single line. These two lines particularly "empty and complete simultaneously", "felt i have found myself and lost some of my pieces".
This is a nice piece, I'd love to read more.
