That First day

The memory of that first day at school is even today very clear at the back of my mind..

That day the rain was showering from
the sky,
And that moment comes to my eye,
when everyone was rushing inside,
And our principal was standing aside.
With fear in the heart i took my seat,
and in few moments the principal came
on the beat.
That days teachers were talking with a
smiling face,
with what they said seemed all
prepared incase.
I saw my old friends sitting somewhere,
And the whole day i wished i too could
be there.
Everything was going in random that
day,
With everyone going on his own way.
The whole day i waited till the
returning time,
by that time i was alloted a bus of mine.
The whole journey i starred the
mountains,
till the driver blew the curtains.....

hm...actually i never got that experience in my life "my first day in my new school"...because i have always studied in the same since i was in montessori...heheh...but if i talk about this poem..it's truly penned nicely and i guess the rhyming is nice as well..
