Rainy Drive

Inspired by taking a drive on a rainy night through town.

Streetlights, headlights
Reflected off the dark, wet pavement
I find peace in the surreal tranquility
Gliding forward with no friction
Simply forgetting my fragility

Hope it never ends
That it goes on forever
But then the pavement ends
And my ride is over
