If only all my moments with her were like this

Take My Hand

Shut all the lights 

and take my hand

Under the moon and

stars we shall go together

Nothing to stop us,

Nothing to hold us back

For tonight we 

are the world

Your hand in mine, my hand 

in yours clasped tightly

Together our hearts beat 

as one, with the world

at our feet and the stars

above us 

Though this night will

not last forever and 

this moment will soon

be over 

Still our love will 

remain forever no

matter what

very nice and well written. i like it. as i read it, it feels like the poem is saying how time slowed down or maybe even kind of stopped as you were holding her hand. like you just wanted to pause time. even though you couldnt, the memory will still last forever.
