Lessons You Can't Learn In a Classroom

Lessons You Can't Learn In a Classroom

A Poem by Cole Troy

The stars fall down
Moonlight shines
Tonight I appreciate night's beauty

I lie awake
I think of you
All of our lessons in loving and being loved

The stars fall down
Moonlight shines
I'd rather appreciate your beauty

Getting lost in your eyes
Suffocating in your kisses
Learning lessons of touching and being touched

The stars fall down
Moonlight shines
The sound of screams holds a haunting beauty

I recall your voice
The warmth of your touch
It was a lesson of losing and being lost
