I Lost My Love Today

It's raining so hard I can harley see the street.  I am so nervous I think my heart just
skipped a beat.  My mind is racing my body is numb . To remain calm all I can do is
hum. I lost my love today.

Thoughts and vision of you pass through my mind I just hope that I am not late and
get there on time I need to see if you will keep your promise to me the one that you
said that no matter what you would always be there.

And that I wouldn't have anything to fear because I could just think and you would
be near I lost my love today.

Why won't this light change from red to green I need to feel you in my arms before I
scream my body is shaking I can't calm my nerves I lost my love today

I am running down the halls pushing through the doors trying to find my way to you
only to have them say that you didn't make it through I lost my love today.
