It's The-

It's The-

A Poem by KC

It’s the wind-swept garden dancer
And the sweetly darkened sky
The face of tattered beauty
And a gothic lullaby

It’s your softly clouding vision
And your heightened sense of fear
The gentle whispered calling
And the footsteps drawing near

It’s your anxious gasp of breath
And your apprehensive sigh
A forsaken mournful loner
And the greed you long to hide

It’s the silent shade of darkness
And the sudden crawl of skin
It’s unholy violation
And hesitation from within

It’s the unmasking of the actor
The uncertainty of day
It’s the innocence of flirting
And temptation gone astray
