Let me call you florescence

Let me call you florescence

A Poem by U.Berry

The night was cold

Oh no it was snowing

someone said loudly, “only 15 minutes left”

15 minutes? only 15 minutes?

A lady was staring through the window,

Waiting for someone impatiently

Placing a hand on crib,

There is something roweling from her eyes

Are you crying?

Yes, she is crying

A voice from a far

“Honey, are you feeling better?”

She smiled lightly

“You know I am strong”

He hugged her tightly, she whispered,

“I want to see my daughter growing up”

“Honey, you-

She cut off his word and weakly said,

“Let’s call our daughter ‘florescence’

Suddenly everything went silent

The rose plant gone dry

Only the baby’s crying are hearing

He kissed her forehead and took the baby

“Shush, mommy is sleeping …”

• The night was cold Oh no it was snowing

I'm interested. There's no poetic language or structure. There's no attempt to manage prosody. The structure, stanza-to-stanza isn't poetic. And, the editing is very sloppy. Why list it as a poem?
