Everything is Gay

Everything is Gay

A Poem by Rachel McLean
"

My friend wrote a wonderful poem about this topic, and i feel the need to share it with you all.

"
If you peel the skin away,
Inside we are the same.
Different beliefs and cultures,
But under one human name.

If someone shines too brightly,
Or differently than you,
You have no right to put them out,
Or tell them what to do.

For if one boy loves another,
Or one girl loves the same
It makes them no different,
No denouncement to their name.

The pure love between two others,
In that you have no say.
It already surrounds us all,
Everything is gaaaaaay

Ok, so the last line was actually an inside joke among me and my friends, which was the basis for the poem. I take credit for none of this. This was purely my friend's work that i feel I should share.

More people need to read this. The only problem is some will never accept the differences in others.

About
So, I haven't been writing for very long, but I definitely hope to improve. I prefer to do stories and novels, however my main purpose here is to work on my poetry. Other than writing, I love reading .. more..
