3000-21

3000-21

A Poem by Toni Nicole

I could have been this wave

That circuits through your body

Exposure fast of rich decay

In this stillness of tonight

Touching softly, bare and alive again

at your expense.her swift reprise.

Pulling you under, nights colide.

Suspicions slid in, and devoured the stars

The leaves fell quiet, with your surprise

An epiphany of misleading destiny

She mouthed words of promise. I then turned away

A bloody promise. With a gust of cruel deception.

A heroine in the shadows, who's hand you'd never see.

While she gutted you with sickness, emotion only left a bruise.
