A Poem by A Stranger's Tale

So often and fair that life will not be

That saying?

If you love someone you set them free?

What silly quote, of foolish daring

I have yet another plan

One need not sparing

For should you love

You chase them down

You hunt with dogs

And burn forests to the ground

To find and love and linger and hold

To tell your children’s children’s tale you told

So believe what you will

and wait and see

if your true love was “meant to be”

But I’m on a mission with much daring and great bold

One which involves only a true lovers soul.

I like it,
Its original, deep and yet it brings a smile to my face,
But hay, what do I know?
well done

You are wise. Setting someone free may leave you alone. A excellent poem.
