The way I'm feeling right now

You don’t see the way she thinks
the way she is affected
You thought you knew her
but you don’t even have a clue
Every word or action is analyzed
she is trying to understand
She tries so hard; yet,
it’s just not enough

You don’t see how hard it is for her
how much struggle is within
The good and bad always fighting
neither side completely winning
She is so confused
wishing she knew what to do

You don’t see deep inside
only the surface she can control
So many secrets hidden away
so unexpected they would blow your mind
Carefulness is key in her life
knowing how to express herself

She may look like she’s got it together
