Love is here

Love is here

A Poem by teresa
"

It's a poem I made in class

"

I’m falling in love as you’re falling out of reach.
You’re losing sight of all that you seek.
And here I am with heart in hand.
Yet you still won’t see as I beseeched.

Their hands in yours in the warm Summer breeze.
They’ll tell you they love you when it’s all at ease.
Yet they’d leave at the first sign of Winter freeze.
My word to you, we’ll see out these Seasons.

So tell me there’s more than just our back and forth.
Don’t build me up, high and aloft.
My emotion’s in motion, there’s no turning it off.
And if this all falls down, the grounds aren’t soft.

Come on, just lay down your defenses.
I’ve thrown away all my pretenses.
I promise my intentions are pure.
To love you despite your galore.
