Hope.

Hope.

Hopefully someone might lead you to an open road, to sit with you and listen to your feelings unfold.
You may think that it is not the best thing to do, but when you let your feelings hide, you create a miserable you.
Sometimes you think the feelings of hurt you can't be express, but then you find to tell will create less mess.

Remember,
It's their mistake; it's not your fault.

Excellent poem of hope inspired from tragedy. I'm sorry you had to go through that loss, I can empathize. Lost my own mother as well. It looks like you were strong and sensible about the situation though. Hope life has more positives in store for you after having to deal with a huge negative.

Sorry for your loss. no matter how much time has passed, the thoughts linger forever. It is good to let them out, and let others share your thoughts.
I wish you're little messsage at then end was true. A lot of the times it is true, but sometimes, it is my fault

You speak wisely, Shae. Having a good talk with a friend can often work miracles, but when that friend is your mother, it's even more special. I'm sorry for your loss.

Good job, Shae! I think, though, second to last line..."of hurt..." should actually be, "that hurt..." Yes, keeping your feelings inside can actually hurt you. I'm glad you wrote this!
