Twice the View

There's always two sides to it.

Everything is not alright.   (Believe me.)

It won't be okay.

The one thing I can promise,

Is that you aren't promised another day.

You can't trust anyone,

No, not even yourself.

Nothing is important now,

Not even your health.

Forget about riches.

No one needs gold.

All that one needs,

Is strength to be bold.

Stand against your enemies.

Don't even trust your "friends"

Hang on for your dear life.

Keep on fighting until the end.

Don't love your neighbor.

You need only yourself.

Loose every memory.

Forget all you've ever felt.

Love only hate.

Hate all that's good.

Don't do anything you're told to.

Even if you think you should.

Do not conform.

Stay true to yourself.

Don't be like the others,

Forget about all wealth.

Don't regret it.

Live life for fun.

Forget everybody else.

You don't need but one.

This one, you should love.

You should keep them near.

Never let them go,

And always keep them dear.

This one you can trust.

Let no one else in.

With this one love,

It will last till the end. 

But be careful when you look.You never know what you'll find.

Some will stay a while,

Then move on and leave you behind.

So as you grow old,

Share this with others.

Help fathers teach sons,

And children, help your mothers.
