My Dream

My Dream

A Poem by unspokenpain
"

Just a dream I had

"
Planes falling from the sky. darkness all around me. every ones eyes are filled with fear. fear, fear is all I see. I hide in a corner and wait for it to pass. but the darkness, just will not leave. can this be really happening, this fear, I just can't believe. I gather everyone, I must protect them. this fear, I won't let it win. men in shadows, come to destroy. But I go right to them, I confront my sin. I open my eyes, it happened again. a terrible dream, that felt oh so real. a message must be trying to be sent. but what is it, was it really a dream?

I really like the transition within the first stanza. By men in shadows, are you saying the men are coming in the form of shadows or out of the shadows?

In my dream if I remember correctly were solidified shadows, like humanity and darkness combined

Wow, that is neat!
I love this, if this was a dream you had, I get you. I have dreams that feel so real and that have many emotions attatched.

Aren't they the best dreams, when they teach you something.
Amazing! Did you actually have that dream?
