Outcast

Outcast

A Poem by unspoken_hero
"

My view on that part of life we have all been through or will go through. my sixth poem.

"
I am a outcast
I wonder if they will accept me
I hear their laughter

I see their fingers pointed at me

I want a sense of belonging

I am a outcast

 I pretend to be happy

I feel so down

I touch my face moist from tears

I worry things will never change

I cry over the pain

I am a outcast

I understand my place

I say my place shall never change

I dream one day my place will change

I try to change things

In the end... I am still...

a outcast...

Good subject choice, but a lot of telling. Show a scene where you are treated as an outcast - if people pick you last for sports or exclude you from a conversation. Or walk away when you talk to them.

Outcasts need a sense of belonging and acceptance in any society...You have penned a good one...:)
