i truly wonder

i truly wonder

A Poem by unspoken_hero
"

will peace ever reside in my lost soul

"
I wake up on a normal day.
Sitting there quietly as my mind goes astray.
how many days do I have left I wonder,
a few or perhaps a big number.
Truly does it matter I wonder.
Time is strange always flowing like water precious yet always numbered.
If I shall die today will anyone shed tears I truly wonder,
will time tell I have always pondered.
I sit here quietly waiting for change hoping for my chance of glory and fame.
When will it happen?
Will it happen at all? I always thought.
My hope is leaving, my stamina is depleting. How much more can I endure? I truly wonder.
Time passes slowly ,intensifying the war within my lost soul how long have I been fighting?
I ponder i truly do wonder...

You know, everyone wonders. I think this poem does a great job at bringing across that feeling of wondering about where the light at the end of the tunnel may be. I think it also gives us a glimpse at the sadness and loneliness that exists in the world.
The peace is very feely. I felt that what it's really doing is asking a question to the masses... That would be, how can we change things so that these lonely roads don't neet to occur.

ok i like the repitition of the line "i truly do wonder" but try putting it at the end of the stanza and find other words that rhyme with wonder other than number. But its a great piece. Just a few minor things.
