Colors We StealA Poem by unsavable_soulLeft to interpretation...
Black
If you wanted to know how dark it gets... I absorb light at times, I nullify the sun I've at times lost sight of the son I accepted a hell made from others But I can't accept a hell, my mother knows better... I'm the other White Given names of saints But those heights aren't the picture I paint. I give, for others I even continue to live... I share this color too, but I'm like you. Broken through and through... So I do what I can do Grey Now you think you know me... But you can't see the shadows. How much a whole painting can be made of shades of grey! It's silhouettes and like an original photograph from the dawn of a camera. It's the stage and your drama I'll remain real. And when I use only the colors, remember... When it's all grey, it's my colors you steal. © 2023 unsavable_soulAuthor's Note
