I Love You, Goodbye

I Love You, Goodbye

A Poem by unsaidwords
"

Fight for it or let go?

"
The smile on your face
is the tear in my eyes
As I see you once again
it feels like some things will change.

I said I love you
you said, I love you too, but.
I said I miss you
you said i miss you, too, but.
It hurts a lot
you said it's okay that's life.

The words you've told
is the thorn in my heart
With a hope that you'll change
and a fear that you won't.

As I recall those days
I realized one thing,
water and oil are immiscible
just like you and I
I said I love you,
you said goodbye.

The agony with what you said
will still remain until the end
to let go is to love
And for the last time,
I love you, goodbye.
