I want to be anonymous
And sink into the sea
Into the deep dark incongruent blue-
Suffocating me

I want to hide far away-
Inside myself and wait
For the incessant turmoil, bleak, to stop-
Persuading me too late

I want the others to look and see
I need them to believe
That with my smiles and loud-
Voice I do deceive.

I want you all to notice that
Your words and snickers hurt
That even though you're having fun-
You make me feel like dirt
