Seemingless Less

Seemingless Less

A Poem by Laura Ex

So sorry that I started
Something I can’t end
So selfish that I stole
Smiles from your head
Searching, slanting, scowl
Spiraling deep down
Stymied, stuck, and stagnant
Standing empty in a crowd
Slipped sundry sin
Sauna’s choking me
Someone save sunshine
So I can finally breathe
Semesters stop my shifting
Steering me away
Sinless, sunless, sadness
Shall somehow end my days
