How You're Loving Me

How You're Loving Me

A Poem by Laura Ex

Empty liquid sugar
Filling me up
Hating how you’re
Loving me
Falling into the
Rising hopes, emotions
Burning to say how you’re
Cooling me down
Breaking into a
Healing habit
Happy to say that the
Sadness has lessened
Sharing myself and my
Selfish being
Feeling things I was too
Numb to feel
Laughter has dissipated my
Crying spells
Waking to your
Sleeping eyes
Loving how you’re
Loving me
