Hey, Hey You

Hey, Hey You

A Poem by Laura Ex

Take me down
Deep and steady
Dark and heavy
My head is killing me
Hey, hey you
Hey, you’re so cute
And my head is killing me
Wild, aching
You said it yourself
I am strange
And I don’t trust that you’re okay with it
Because my head is killing me
Almost late, a day or two behind
Time does nothing
And matters never, not even a little bit
Not even at all
Just like me
We have something in common
Let’s be friends
Me and time,
Me and you,
Hey, hey you
What’cha thinking about?
Hey, hey you
I love you
And hey, hey you
You don’t love me
