Death has not left the eyes
Of the hopeless
It lingers on as she cries
In pain
Life just want’ meant for her
She’d say
Hiding out underneath her layers
Sometimes she wants to run away
And when she finally comes back to earth
She’ll continue searching
Happiness won’t make you happy
