That time I chose myself

That time I chose myself

A Poem by Diary of a Teen Queen
"

My whole teenage life has been focused of finding "the one" and fighting for "the one" that came to the point of me not knowing who I am anymore, so here is a poem of me choosing me for a change.

"
my mind, soaring for what is true.
it aches for what is real,
but sadly fails,
from the stupidity it faces.

Your face,
Full of lies and disappointments.
Nothing to trust,
Nothing to hold on.

Full of heartaches,
I received.
Full of hope,
I built.

Once again, you're leaving.
But this time I'm thinking
Using my head,
For what i feel is true.

No, for what i know is true.

You're gone
Your lost.
I don't care anymore
You ain't leaving me with another hole to fill

Im no damsel
I got no regrets
Im a fighter,
And now i'll fight for myself.
