Rome Wasn't Built in a Day

Rome Wasn't Built in a Day

A Poem by New Age Love
"

Empires are built over time, not all at once.

"

Rome wasn’t built in a day, it was built in 3.

Marble roads to happiness; a rise and fall throughout history.

A beautiful creation, built on strong foundations with care,

even on day 2 my heart still will be there.

It takes more than a day to lay down a cobble-stone road,

A labor of love like no other.

A yellow-hue rising on the horizon.

A dream come true, an empire built from what we manifest.

Toiling over our own happiness that reflects through our hearty smiles;

Rome wasn’t built in a day, it took 3 days’ time.

Interesting way of putting your description into words. It sparked my interest in how long it took to build Rome, and wow so many days, but definitely not a single day. Tyfs
