I CAN'T TALK

I CAN'T TALK

A Poem by Stef Outsiders

I can't talk

I can't lay a whisper

Through out the years

I could not hea
r

The sound of my voice

I could not tell a story

Or even share a song

A shatter piece of glass

That i had become

I hoped my face

Was enough to say

I hoped my eyes

Were enough to tell you

But still

You did not understand

You still looked right through me

I can't talk

No matter how hard i tried

Nothing would come

You stood there

Saying what you needed to

All that fell were my tears

Each drop said something

And still, you were blinded

By what you believed..

The mind brings thoughts of someone being rushed into an E.R.
Nurse checking vitals,
Doctors looking for life

Choking on our own emotions that we can't express them... been there. We get misunderstood enough when we don't speak let alone when we remain silent. I feel the pain in your words and understand.

One of your best , full with sadness ... very strong words , very deep situation ... sometimes we dont find the words ... sometimes its just too late to heal
