Forgotten stone..

Forgotten stone..

A Poem by Stef Outsiders

I am a forgotten stone,

the one that rests in your pocket,

the one that broke your washing

machine when you found me all clean

and shiny,

you stare long and hard,

remembering

why?

why did you pick me up?

I saw no shimmer of hope

and so you tossed me aside,

and I landed with a thud.

Alone once again, this forgotten stone...

A wonderful poem. Sharp, bright and insightful. Given the subject matter that takes skill and class to do. But you have it in bucket loads
