Hurts, at every door..

Hurts, at every door..

A Poem by Stef Outsiders

I am tired
I am cold
Alone in this corridor
My worst nightmares
are about to unfold

surrounds by scars
burden with pain
staring at a blank page
fear there is nothing
else to gain

I feel the black tiles
beneath my feet
I feel the draft
descend

my hand rests
time to make a choice
surround by so many
surround by what hurts
hurts, at every door..

Without pain, there is no pleasure.. hold you head high, and hold on to hope, as tomorrow holds promise.

It hurts to read this. Really hurts. Superb writing, but... not an easy read. But worth it.

Deep and intense.. I feel the anxiety of my hand touching the door handle..as I hesitate to open another door...xx

I can really feel the loneliness that can happen when the heart is hurting, a simple expression of your feelings but very effective.

A sad account of depression and anxiety and the uncertainty and disillusionment it brings to all facets of life.
