Burned wings...

Burned wings...

A Poem by Stef Outsiders

Burned wings
Burned sorrow
I can't fly over the ruins
they will be dust tomorrow

The wind can't carry my weight
for the air is full of sin
 suffocating
my very existence

Fire in your hands
laid a scar on the white of my feathers
I now bare a mark
heaven has an ending

clouds can't protect me anymore
the sun hurts
Burned wings
Burned sorrow

There will be no day after tomorrow..

A very catchy poem... it really makes me think of when innocence is first lost and it feels like the world has fallen apart.

Heartbreaking. So well handled, crafted, yet hard to write the review because it has such impact. It grabs your guts and twists hard. A straightforward piece that leaves no nerve un prodded with a stick.
