Something I wrote but forgot about...A Story by Stef Outsidersit's not completed. just something I wrote...“Miss Tine, Miss Tine.” A voice echoed in my thoughts, I blinked, quickly snapping back to reality, followed with a class full of giggles. “Miss Tine care
to refresh your memory of what you’ve learnt today.” Mrs Hardwicke stood at the
front of the class, her eyes burning into my face, like a hot spot light
shinning upon you when on stage. And then being laugh at by the audience
because you’ve forgotten your lines. “I- I” I
stuttered, slowly sinking further into my seat. I had nothing to hide behind,
only my black hair, I scarily tuck a piece behind my left ear. Lately I’ve been
unable to focus on my college work, unable to focus on anything. “See me after
class.” Hardwicke sighed, pushing her fallen glasses back onto the bridge of
her nose. I was afraid she might say that.
I attend an
evening arts course at my local college; it’s something I’ve always been good
at. And I love being around people. I have to be around people, it’s a safety
blanket I’ve had since I was child. I always love to say hello, the funny thing
is; you’d think I’d be popular considering but truth is, I’m not. © 2011 Stef OutsidersReviews
