Invisble

Invisble

A Poem by Stef Outsiders

There I was
standing
in a crowd of black and white

people pass me
never looking at me
not a glimpse of eye

slowly I walk
out of no where
I bump into a man

So very tall
He looked right over me
his eyes were longing

I stare over my shoulder
and can see why
a woman came running

she leaped into his arms
and plunge into a kiss
hell, i didn't deserve this

I turned away
and began to hurt
no one heard

no one cared
because they could not see me..

There are times I wish I could be invisible to the world and just move about freely. I like how the random encounter stirred a feeling of loneliness inside this person it happens everyday. I do believe that even when we think no one notices us that someone does but we don't notice them.

The poem is terrific. A saluatation to isolation. It has a perfect beat to it and a structure. another one that hit's the mark perfectly. A poem to be seen as a crystalisation of time maybe. A moment in a day. Maybe more. But any way you look at it, a damn fine poem

Dear Random,
The woman ran and leapt into his arms.
He didn`t see you because you made no
overtures toward him.
Get wise to yourself. Would you have liked
the tall man to run up to you and kiss you ?
Hell no, you would have called a cop .
Women have to make some overture if they
want a man to respond to them.
'I would bet big=time that you know this, you
just take no action.
