Black and white Rainbow

Black and white Rainbow

A Poem by Stef Outsiders

Sat in a field
as the rain poured
I waited for the sun
but the sun was to be ignored

why?
I thought
I've waited for hours
I want to see it colors

red
purple
blue
yellow
orange
indigo
and green

It's been minutes
nothing

I watched the clouds
some begin to part
come on sun
let's see the love

ugh... none

something else
occurred
in many different shades
of grey
streamed through
the pouring rain

it was peculiar

I did not know
what to think
am I going mad?
or is this a sign?

Am I not worthy of its colors?
is my hands
too dry for it's gold?

while stood under
this dull river
a black and white rainbow
my mind began to wonder...

I always love that image of sunlight streaming through the clouds... it is like angels shooting down from above... a beautifully inspiring piece.

Random, abstract and terrific. A great poem. Loved it.

Grayscale is also beautiful... and sometimes we see the best through such plainness of vision

A clever thought.
You have a wonderful imagination.
A nice poem.
