Bite me and Die...A Story by Stef OutsidersI begin
to notice him everywhere I turn, this 1920’s shadow of a young man. I slowly
begun to like that he was there, he was watching. No man has ever looked at me
like him, passing hungry glances when he met my stare; setting my mind of into
a wondrous haze.
Strong urges seize my feelings, I wanted to know him. I wanted to know him more
than anybody in my life. I saw him one day, across the road
from where I worked. and approached. "Hi" I said to him
politely. But I got nothing back, just a glare and
a glare so long and hard, my heart bleated harder through my chest. Say
something. I thought. Please say something. "Hi" He replied. His voice
was deep and strong, like nothing I heard before. It sent small vibrations
through my skin. “Are you new in town? I haven’t seen
you around before” I bravely smiled. He was hard to read, looking so plain. But
the eyes were saying different. “Yeah just moved here, it’s quiet but
I guess; I’ll get used to it” “Oh, well maybe I can show you around,
you do look a bit lost” I kept smiling, hoped it would crack that beautiful
face of his and make me feel less stupid but nothing budge. “I’ am lost if I’m to be honest” The
corner of his mouth twitched. “Though, it would be nice to been
shown around, as I’ am to live here permanently” I watched his mouth, almost going
into a haze when he said permanently, my
heart pounder harder at the thought. “That’s great- I mean welcome to
