My little world- Stay

With out really thinking

we were flying

to where I don't know

"Land me there," I said quickly

I couldn't leave Fallomine

"As you wish!" David said 

he lightly tug at the reins

and the nye obeyed....

 

We flew through some clouds

down below

Fallomine still rested

looking worried 

and did not hear us land

"Fallomine!" I cooed 

He shot to his feet

and growled through his teeth...

 

"No Fallomine!" I strengthened my words

so he would calm

"They are our friends" 

Fallo raised his head and snorted at them

The Nye let out a chuckle like screech

towards Fallomine's display

which did not please him...

 

"Dina please behave" David turned to his pet

And the Nye back away

I realized he too had name his Nye

"Dina? pretty name" I blurted out

David smiled but the smile did not last long

"Sorry did i say something wrong?"

 

"No, you are never wrong" He said with his back to me

I frowned, confused by what he meant

"Someone has to be wrong sometimes" I added

"Forgive me my lady," He sighed

I frowned even further 

that my brows begun to ache

he sounds crazier than me...

 

"Forgive you? what do you mean?" I asked 

Hoping he would give me some answers

"You remind me of someone thats is all," He spoke

with his back to me

still holding the reins of his Nye

"Really, who?" 

 

I wanted to dig deep

I wanted to see if he was anything like David

from his dark skin

to his dark eyes

he has already shown he has charm

"A woman I once loved," He surprised me...

 

David turned 

took a few large steps towards me

so our bodies were inches from each other

"You look exactly like her, how is it so?" He hovered

I still did not understand 

"You have her eyes, her nose, her lips" 

he reached for my hand...

 

Fallomine growled at him

which stopped him in his tracks

"Who ever you think I look like, I'm not her. 

I'm not what you think I' am," I insisted

Trying to be kind

but it did not work...

 

Sadness filled his eyes

I saw his hope 

that i was someone he knew

But i was not

I felt bad

guilt wrapped me in its coils

He did rescue me

before i was found...

 

David begun to walk away

i could not let him go alone

"Stay" I said 

locking my fingers into his...

 

"Stay"
