Many of us would ask

it flows in many ways

someone once told me

but i do not really know...

What is love?

that question remains blank

I thought I had felt it

but did not last long

the sparkle in my heart

is gone...

what is love?

is a riddle to some

a mystery to others

those who are in love

I grow in envy when you make it last...

What is love?

that hunger that you feel

I want that,

I want it,

doe's it exist

is it really real...

Love is so many things and it isn't just one thing. I feel because of our flesh and bones we experience love in two ways physical as in making love and emotionally as in feeling love but they are just the fringes of real love. I feel people seek to feel love they want the butter flies, sweaty palms, flowers, candy, romance, to be swept off their feet day and night, but is that love? I know love when I am at my lowest of points and the people who stand with me, not behind me or over me but with me are the people who love me. So what is love I have no clue but I do recognize it.

Most amazing write, love the feelings involved. No one knows exactly what love really is, we just sit and guess at it, sometimes we take off and run from it when we find out or we catch the feeling and hold it close. Wonderful write.
