See it through an old mans eyes...A Poem by Stef OutsidersIt's a poem, but it doesn't rhyme like the others I've done... it just came to me!From the moment I wake I miss you already as I lay a kiss upon your neck. From the moment I eat I miss you beside me, telling me to mind my manners. And take care on not spilling my food. From the moment I come home I miss seeing those loving blue eyes as we mold into a big hug. From the moment I sleep I miss holding your tiny body close to mine. From the moment I wake I wish I didn't as I wake to an empty bed, no kiss upon your soft shoulder as I eat there's an empty chair beside me but I still remember my manners. as I come home I'm not met with your loving looks and one of our blissful hugs as I sleep I' am cold with no body of yours to keep me warm. © 2010 Stef OutsidersAuthor's Note
