I'm the devils daughter

A small story poem..

There is something I should of told you,

something that may seem crazy,

something so surreal,

you'll find it hard to understand.

 

The reason why you like my mysterious ways,

my long dark hair and my hazel brown eyes,

The way I make your heart beat hard,

from under the warmth of my hand.

 

I hope what I have to say,

doesn't frightened you, 

because I'm scared of how it will affect us,

I know I know,

relationships are built on trust.

 

Take a deep breathe, 

be ready for my words,

I love you,

this is where I begin...

 

I'm the devils daughter,

I was placed here, 

purely of my own choice,

to get away from my mother,

who wanted me to take her place,

to marry another demon,

so I would take my father's thrown,

to whom you'd know as Satan. 

 

but her plans were found out,

I manage to escape, 

from a very cruel fate,

though my mother did not,

I left her to die, 

it was her own fault.

 

Now I'm here,

living life as I please,

I hear your thoughts,

and wonder why a demon has such feelings,

that because I've learned,

from the one person,

who's standing right in front of me,

I should of killed you,

from the moment we met,

but it was your love for me,

that made me forget.

 

who I' am and be more humanly,

I hate knowing I will always be this,

but with you at my side,

the human I will still be.

Wow I loved this poem/story infact I have a criticism of your work

WHY ISN'T IT LONGER!!!

I loved the fantasy aspect and the way you make the devils daughter someone who clearly didn't care in the past but her future stands before her a beautiful statement delivered perfectly

I would love to read a follow up perhaps this is in the making??

another great poem with superb descriptive language and imagery keep them coming

100/100 as always totally faultless except the length lol
