Chapter 15: Moment 4 Life.

        Fernando and Kasumi left to go outside. Once they were Kasumi began to feel unsure about talking to him. "Look, Im sorry.." They both laughed at the fact they said the samething at the same time. "Uh, you go first." Kasumi said. Fernando nodded and smiled. "Kasumi Ayumi Messi, I love you. From the first time I saw you I fell in love with you. You're nothing like Olalla. Your smile is the cutest thing I've ever seen. The way you laugh with your friends. I just want to hear it all night. Your voice is beautiful and may I say when I saw you perform for the cheerleading spot you looked pretty good! I'm just sorry for playing you and making you look like a loser. I had feelings for you. They were legit it's just- I- didn`t know if those feelings were enough to get over Olalla." He sighed.

 

 

     Kasumi was speechless. She couldn't find a response to what he just said. So, Kasumi simply kissed him. She was afraid he wouldn't, but he did. There they were kissing in the middle of the parking lot. It was beautiful, starry, and cloudy making the night feel special. When they finally stopped for air Kasumi smiled. "Fernando, I-I love you too." Tears started to come down her cheeks. She was happy, Fernando loved her, and she loved him. Is this really happening? Did I finally just get the guy I have been wanting all my time here at Cruiser High? Before Fernando responded she heard someone announce her name.

 

      "Please welcome the NEW captain of the Cruiser High cheerleading team, Kasumi Messi!" The crowd cheered loudly. She ran inside into the gym. Everyone looked at her with smiles on their faces. She got hugged a couple times and of course she heard a lot of "congratulations." As she stood on stage recieving everything the cheerleading captain needed she couldn't help but see Fernando smiling. There was a twinkle in his eye. Kasumi smiled back.

      

     -- Later That Night--

 

       "Tanisha, tonight was absolutely the best night of my life!" Kasumi yelled. "Samehere! I can`t believe you're officially Fernando's girlfriend! I bet you feel really good right now." Tanisha said. Kasumi paused for a moment to look back at the way Fernando had asked her to become his girlfriend.

 

          They were walking home from prom. Fernando was holding her hand telling her about what he was doing after highschool. He was going to go to college and do soccer and hopefully do it as a profession. Kasumi told him she wanted to become a professional wrestler. He laughed at her at first but then saw she was serious. They arrived at Kasumi`s house and stood in front of the door.

 

         Fernando sighed and smiled. "Well, this is it. Your house." Kasumi laughed a little "Uh, yep, my little ole' house." She was about to open the door when Fernando's lips softly kissed hers. He then whispered: "..will you be my girlfriend, hermosa?" Kasumi nodded and kissed him one last time. "Yes, I'll be your girlfriend."

 

        "Kasumi! Kassy! Yo!" Kasumi snapped out of the daydream and was then interrupted by Tanisha. "Uh, yeah?" There was a pause. Then Tanisha finally responded. "I'll talk to you tomorrow, kay?" Kasumi hung up and went to bed after she told Tanisha "goodnight"..
