A Poem by Ace Perez

My feelings for you diverge,
I ignore you, but you're always there,
Like a worker bee to it's queen
Addicted to your affection.

These emotions I hide so well
Dispassionate, like a robot
Like a tree, unable to move,
I'm anxious to such emotions.

Grief-Stricken I Am,
I hide my love,
I hide my sorrow,
To create this facade.

Though you are different
You bring life into my grey world,
Vivid yet so empty,
If I change I would, for you I should.

The past chases me down,
Like a nightmare to hunt me down,
Escape my past or
Change who I Am.

About
I just very melancholic, I love to write poems, it puts me in a state of calm. Not only it makes calm, but it gives me time to reflect on life, and on myself when I'm experiencing hard times. more..
